Year of Faith

Week of May 19 "Remain steadfast in the journey of faith, with firm hope in the Lord. This is the secret of our journey! He gives us the courage to swim against the tide. To go against the current; this is good for the heart, but we need courage to swim against the tide. Jesus gives us this courage! There are no difficulties, trials or misunderstandings to fear, provided we remain united to God as branches to the vine, provided we do not lose our friendship with him, provided we make ever more room for him in our lives. This is especially so whenever we feel poor, weak and sinful, because God grants strength to our weakness, riches to our poverty, conversion and forgiveness to our sinfulness. The Lord is so rich in mercy: every time, if we go to him, he forgives us. We Christians were not chosen by the Lord for little things; push onwards toward the highest principles. Stake your lives on noble ideals! UNIFORM EXCHANGE IS JUNE 3RD & 4TH The End-of-the-Year Uniform Exchange will take place on Monday & Tuesday June 3-4, 2013 in Knight Hall. On Monday, June 3rd, you may drop-off your items from 7:30-8:30 am and 2:30-3:30 pm. Please bring gently used items to Knight Hall. For every piece of clothing you turn in, you will receive a ticket. If the item is too stained, ripped, has holes or you wouldn’t let your own child wear it, please don’t bring it. Tuesday, June 4th is pick-up from 2:00-3:30pm. Parents bring the tickets to Knight Hall to exchange one ticket for each article of clothing. *If you have questions or would like to help with the exchange, please contact Alison Almazan at Alison.m.almazan@wellsfargo.com **Please check Lost & Found in the school lunch room. Any items that do not have a legible name will be donated to the Uniform Exchange. |

Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is a Parish- run event open to children of incoming grades K - 5. The 2013 VBS will be held July 8th -12th. Registration will open on Saturday, May 18th.
Students may sign up to volunteer for community service hours May 6th - June 17th. For more information Click Here |
